J32A2 Engine swap into a 1st gen TL?

Anybody ever look into this? Maybe with a 6speed tranny? I seen them put in civics, and integs, was wondering if it would be worth the investment to put it in a 1st gen TL. Whatcha think?

If it's a simple swap that would be great, seeing that the J32A2 engine can use the 6MT as well as 3.7 parts.

Beaten to death on the Legend boards. The motor is SIDEWAYS. If you're going to go into that much work to get it swapped in, then why not go NSX? Or better yet, throw the balance all the way to the front and drop an LS7.

Besides, for the Civics and Integras, they have swap mounts for the J-series pre-fabbed.

I've had some people ask me after looking at engine if it was RWD. They didn't believe me. Few looked underneath the car for drive shaft and differential.

Engine sits right in the middle of front wheels and transmission goes further back. So it fools some people, just like if you tell them that 2.5TL has 5 cylinder engine.

Our (2,5TL) side members are too close to each other. Need to do lots of bodywork to put J32A inside our engine bay. Mostly becouse of J32A diametrical disposition instead our's longitudinal. But possible, I think. May be in 32TL it'll be simplier.

No because of the rear subframe design and the gas tank. Honestly, though, a friend of mine said he'd rather swap to RWD than help me change another transmission on this car so who knows?
