intake install help! (56k maybe)

Well i received my weapon r sri, the instructions are straight forward but i have one problem. The pipe on the top won't come off. It seems as if it's welded to the others and it gets in the way of the intake and the replacement hose weapon r provided. did anyone else have a problem with this?

The lower pipe is for coolant. If you don't mind getting a little dirty, find the ports for that tube, measure it. Go to your local auto parts store and buy replacement tube of about the same length. Swap. It should take care it.

Do I need to worry about a normal PVC tube overheating, because the OEM ones are metal? And also can I do the same thing with the middle metal tube?

Just get some fuel lines and use those. No need to worry about melting, the factory metal pipe is to transfer some heat away from the coolant, by running it next to the relatively cool air.
