Never had anything from that site before personally, though I believe someone has done a brushed aluminum one, not sure from where.

To take the shifter gate bezel off, you have to take off the entire center console that has the armrest and cupholders.

Two screws behind the coin tray, two next to where your knee is on the side, to get those, slide the seats all the way back. Two screws below the felt floor in the lower armrest cubby. Take off the shift knob (unscrew) and the black trim around it, pull the e-brake up, and then pull the center console out, tipping the back up first, and then disconnect the cig ligther.

After that, you can take off that gray piece. There are two tabs on each side, that are relatively hard to get off, but it is possible. Then you can take it and chrome it (paint stripper) or put the wood trim from that site on.

I bought that exact kit for my TL, I loved it, was easy to put in too. Since the 2.5 doesnt come with the wood on the doors and in some places on the dash. I liked it.

Mike, how well did it match? Worth the money, or did it look out of place?
