DIY Headlight Blackout !!

I havent seen too many people do this on a first gen so I did it for myself.
Let me know what you guys think, I just did the one, if you guys like it Ill do a good step by step DIY with pics and all that.

Btw I still have to set the lens and polish it out on the outside, it will be cleaner flawless before installation.

Used a high heat black spray paint. Went on real smooth. Two coats

Well If enough people were interested I will do a DIY today for the other light I still have to do, two people is enough for me, Ill do it today LOL

yes DIY please. well i think i know how you did it but i'm hoping u just waved a magic wand over them and said "abracadabra". bc i'm too fearful to stick my set in an oven and hope they seal watertight once i finish

No they deffinately went in the oven, they are a bitch to get apart, they go back together quite easy though, and they seem to be sealed quite well, The DIY is coing very soon

Tried to get rid of as much chrome as possible, Car is black, eventually the whole thing will be blacked out, wheels ,interior, everything

Id really be interested in seeing a DIY, ive been thinking about doing it myself because I cant find any Inspire lights on ebay. And its cheaper then ordering inspire lights too lol

Not for fail, they are done and on the car, the turned out very well and sealed back together very nice with no moisture issues. As I said before we just moved and Im still trying to dig things out of boxes, will get them up asap, stuffs just been hectic

Ok guys sorry about not getting back sooner, I guess the memory card that all the pics are on is MIA, dont know what happened to it or where it could be, the headlights are on the car and have been for a bit and are sealed perfect and look great heres a pic, dont mind the support the local Sheriff Bumper sticker, its election time again.

I've done this kinda mod before on my 99 avenger, pretty simple just gotta be careful cuz I almost caught an oven mit on fire lol but, if the original thread starter don't mind I'm gunna be blacking out my headlights soon, ill take sum pix and do the diy
