I suggest doing a retrofit. Plug and play "bi-xenon" kits have a terrible beam pattern. Some single beams have an arc closer to the original halogen filament so they come out pretty decent, but I can tell you that it's not any brand sold in the US for cheap.

I have a 10,000k H.I.D kit...it was a plug and play. Very easy installation and looks great. It was a gift. Ill have to dig the box out of my trunk. I've got pictures of where we mounted the boxes/cases if you need pix, they only give you enough cord, do not splice. Don't be in a hurry. The only place I could find to mount the boxes/cases...where the heat would not hit them. Hang on let me dig out my pix.

I don't know how you can see with 10,000K. That's just blue, and the eyestrain is terrible.

Here's what a retro would look like with fogs on. Light is actually kept on the road, and not in other drivers' eyes.

It's expensive if you have someone do it for you. If you buy the kit and the head lights it shouldn't be that expensive it just takes patience and precision. Try theretrofitsource.com for the kit they have a great quality of choices for projector based lights.

They aren't that bad. I've done them for $600 all inclusive. I was going to sell my already retrofitted headlights to a forum member for $450 but he flaked. The upside is that you do it once and you never have to worry about it again.

^ This guy knows his stuff (especially the lightings and JDM goodies for our cars); so if he's still up to selling them and you got the money to buy, then I'd strongly recommend him. I just don't have the funds right now, have to pay my loans and currently trying to get into dental school. I'm very lucky that my car have been trouble free so far.

Hey Go um how bout if u still have these when i get some extra cash i buy them off of you. I love the cut off. What temp are you running in that pic, bc i just ordered a set of purple bulbs for my TL and i was a tad bit disappointed. they look more pinkish. I haven't tried driving with them yet but i picked them up just for looks.

Thanks for the kind words. I've already disassembled everything and put the projectors in another friend's car. One of the reflector bowls was a little burnt and dirty so the output dropped a lot on that side. I cleaned it out and polished it a bit and it's nice and bright again. I might start doing some retros with my spare headlights and do a trade in thing, where you send in your headlights as cores and receive the already finished ones if anyone is interested. I was asking $450 for the other set because I had a broken tab, though.

IIRC, that photo was when I had the 6000K bulbs in and the fogs are HID. As you can see, they were true yellow.

I love the way my 10ks look...yup theyve got some blue to them and my high beams will blind someone but I have a hard time seeing while driving at night, after the install I couldn't believe the difference! My bro who got them for me said the only hint he would give is they are from japan and around $1k(what a hard hint). I get alot of compliments and think they are definitely worth every penny. Remember to each his/her own...its whatever makes you happy

I highly doubt they're from Japan, . Do you have a shot of the ballasts?

I trust my brother 110%...but you never know! I did have a shot...I looked yesterday for it and couldn't find it . Ill have to take another soon, its been crazy coz my family is visiting from Texas. Ill be doing the fog light 10k conversion probably instead of the H3c...what do you think? Im just worried about them matching...lol especially the side lights also...I don't have any at all right now(too lazy to replace them since they burned out)

H3c is the bulb type, and 10000K is a colour temp. They're unrelated.

H3c is the bulb number for the OEM fog lights.

I put 6000K in all my vehicles.

I go with DDM Tuning. Even though some will say otherwise, many have had good experience with them and I also have so I'm not complaining. For the price and the warranty that also come with it, you cannot go wrong.

i used to order a lot from ddmtuning. Too bad my last order took over a month to receive and they drop shipped it from china in an unpadded smashed box. Not to mention the quality sucks and customer service also sucks now. They've lost my business and lucky for me, I've found much better quality stuff from a different source.

around 1k for a kit [assuming its plug and play]?

i dont understand how compromising your safety can make you happy. i guess some pple care more about looks than safety and function.
