Cool, very nice. 1 question though, What happened when you press the button while the engine is running? Is the starter gonna try to start again or it will shut off the engine?

It will try to start the car again. To shut the car off you need to turn the key.

wow, I had to do something similar with my 1987 VW Golf. Stupid faulty wiring. Very simple to do.
