no it will not fit... they do have an intake for the 2.5... also look into the vigor application since the engine is the same...

^ Yup, they can also make custom stuff if you want. Easy for me since they're local. I had considered a full Secret Weapon cold air, but since I don't have a fender liner now, it'd be all bad, hehe. SF's rainy season is coming up, too.

~Cheers~

P.S. Joil, most of your questions have been discussed before. Please do a search in the future and, if need be, bump an old thread if you've got more questions.

i want to know if it"s important to let the mass air flow
and air sensor to the intake or it's possible to remove it completly.

You need the MAF for the ECU to determine how much fuel to put in for the given amount of air. One problem with putting in a larger diameter intake pipe is that the ECU figures AF ratios by a set formula. Say the original intake is 2.75" in diameter, and the MAF opening is 0.5". The original charge pipe's cross sectional area is 5.939 in^2, and the MAF is 0.196 in^2, giving a ratio of 30.301:1. If you increase the pipe size to the standard 3 inches, the area increases to 7.068 in^2, while the MAF opening stays the same. The new ratio becomes 36.061:1. Now, the ECU doesn't know that the pipe is larger, so it continues to shoot enough fuel to match what it thinks is a 13.5:1 AF ratio, since the air going into the MAF opening is the same with the larger pipe as it was with the original one. In reality, the added flow and air mass will knock your AF ratio down to about a 14, or 14.5:1, basically leaning you out. It's ok for an NA car to have a ratio around that, since the knock sensors will take care of any minor detonation by retarding the timing. There are tricks we do on the 7Ms to take care of this, like using an 1UZ's MAF and a VQ45's throttle body, but I don't think it's really worth it to do all that on a 2.5NA.

The IAT, if that's what I think you're referring to, calculates air density from temperature, again helping the ECU decide how much fuel to put in. Colder air = denser air = can burn more fuel.

Cliff's Notes: No, you can't remove either one.

~Cheers~

and for the oze entering in the intake pipe it's important to come before the
sensor (iat, maf) or it's not important?

can i bypass this oze whit something?
if there are other option because i buy a intake and it dont fit i try to fit it.

Click the link above to view pictures of my car... Talk to Leo at Weapon-R if you are a local... He's a really cool guy and I for one recommend their work...

He hooked me up with a custom SRI... billet throttle roter... and FPR (Fuel Pressure Regulator)... Grade A service... They do custom exhausts... the works... strongly recommended if you are in the South Frisco area...

This last week, my exhaust manifold cracked... I would have taken my 2.5 to him this past week, just that I don't have the cash or the time... especially since its so close for me to go back to AZ...

LEO is your guy!

Well with a short ram you normally wont run into hydrolocking since its right under the hood, but with a cold air intake you can buy an air bypass valve which is supposed to eliminate all chances of hydrolock.
