I have a 96 TL and in time I will be putting on some 18" chrome wheels. My question is will it ride rough haveing low pro tires, and big wheels?? Because right now it rides like a caddilac. I have an 89 Accord with 16" and is slammed so I know how it is with lowered cars. But was wondering on the TL because it drives so nice.

I have 18's and I don't have a problem, depending of course on how low you gonna go. Its up to you. Some even have 19s. It never hurts to try, right? Drop me a line anytime you want about the car, or anyone else for that matter. I'm sure they are all willing to help. Enjoy the ride!

Mike my old TL had 18s also I was running tire size of 225 40 18 rode jsut like one factory wheels.

Wow that's crazy that it would ride the same. Well thanks guys. In time I will find out.

I have 18x7.5's with 225/40 tires and it does not feel like the factory ride. It hits bumbs harder, its still not bad, but not like factory. Also, I have a 45 offset and they rub in the back if there's people back there.

Maybe New York streets are just worse. There's holes and cracks all over.
