YES OR NO Remove amber in tailights
YES OR NO Remove amber in tailights
I am stuck in a bind right now. I installed my inspire tailights ( by the way they look sweet) and i am so excited with them. One thing is still bothering me. The little amber inside the tailights. It is a tiny little detail that bugs the hell outa me. It seems somewhat easy to crack the amber with a dremell tool and slowly crack pieces off PATIENTLY until they are entirely removed. Any suggestions on..
A. Removing them?
and
B. Should I remove them?

I kept mine in there. I mean after spending a few hundred bucks on those tails, i didnt want to tamper with them. Im goin for JDM and i want to keep everything keep everything lookin as it would normally look. Its a dim orange and cant be seen from every angle so i didnt mess with it. It bothered me in the beginning but i got used to it. My vote is that u leave it in.
BTW where did u get your cross-drilled slotted rotors and what kind are they?? I see a set on ebay all the time but am a little iffy on them.

i took mine out and boy let me tell you..it was a BITCHHHHHHHHHHHHH!! I really wouldn't recommend it. why you ask? if you screw one of them up, you'll have to buy another tail. where are you goign to get just one jdm tail?? its hard to find a pair much less one. or you could sell the other good tail but whose going to buy just one jdm tail? i really wouldn't recommend it.
i bought my crossed drilled rotors here locally. Personally i dont like the ones i purchased because they were drilled and slotted at teh ship and they had told me that they were going to coat them with nickel or zinc. or whatever they coat them with. and after about a month they started to get rusted. I did order some other ones like 5 years ago for my 93 acura vigor which has very similar pads and rotors and those worked beatutifully. They never rusted, they had the real plating. I dont remember the company. But i do know they were based out of canada. I got their address form import tuner i believe a long time ago. Let me see if i can find that number.
