Hello from Missouri...

I've got a friend who works at a bike shop who is upgrading his bike rack, and thus is going to sell me his old one for less than half of what a new one would cost me. For those that feel like flaming that it'll ruin the lines...well, I kind of agree, but I *need* a rack, and can't plop down the dough for a hitch mount.

Here's the thing: The clips that Yakima recommends (Q35) don't even come close to fitting, and the friend's clips (Q11) *almost* work, but not quite. If you have a Yak rack on your 1st gen, what clips do you have? Did you need to make any special adjustments to the recommended dimensions?
