Wood trim? ..

I'm curious about woodtrim for a 96 2.5.. I've seen the kits on this site and am curious about how they look and if someone has them? Any pics? Are these just a stick on? Or do they replace the factory pieces?

I've seen other kits around that are much cheaper (ebay) but I'm very hesitant about them matching the factory pieces w/out looking silly...

Does anyone have any experience or tips w/ something like this? Should I just leave it alone and be happy w/ stock?..

Any suggestions or tips would be great

Thanks..

Sam

i'd leave it stock because it would match with the shift knob. do you have a matching burlwood shift knob yet? if not, get it...its like 100 bucks or something?? the black rubber shift knob is like 15 bucks.. just go get a wooden shift knob, if you haven't gotten it yet.

I haven't gotten the shift knob yet. It's my g/f's car and she hasnt had it long. I just ordered the clear turn lamps and will be ordering her springs next. She really likes the wood trim though and is constantly hinting.. I do plan on getting the shift knob soon .. but was just kind of curious how the trim looks.

Thanks for the help though.. I can always count on you for a response

I have the kit. I really like it. And yes it's stick on. Theres a few things you have to do before putting on. I also bought a woodgrain shifter too. Here are some pics

yeah i got a wood trim kit for the center console for joshuatree and personally i didn't like it cuz it didn't perfectly match the center console and the "burlwood" from the factory. go to A and H (ahmotor.com), I ordered a wood trim kit from them and it's factory replacement none of the sticky stuff and it matches the factory wood trim!!!!...the only draw back is the price...... $187.10 i should have ordered that from the start. i'll post pics as soon as i can. trim kit includes the center panel, and the cup holder

So for the $187 you got the center console but no other pieces? I'm not sure what exactly you get..

Thanks for the help and for the pics when you get em

Question WOOD TRIM???

WOOD TRIM I DON'T KNOW UNLESS YOU HAVE A RED OR GREEN TL. I TRIED THAT WOOD TRIM AND TRUST ME THE INTERIOR LOOKS WAY BETTER WITH BRUSH ALLOY OR CARBON FIBER. ESPECIALLY IF YOUR RIDE IS SILVER OR BLACK.
BESSIDES IT LOOKS MUCH COOLER WITH THE CHROME SHIFTER AND THE GUIDE PLATE WHEN STRIP TO CHROME.

Well the car is white. I'd consider something besides wood trim depending on $$ and pics.. ? But I think Mike89Acord96TL's pics showed that the wood trim looks really nice

kit

Hey Samzman, ya I love the kit. I paid like $170 for the kit, then got a burlwood shiftor to go with it. You'll like the kit, and it's easy to install. Takes like maybe 2 hours.
