would one from an '00 fit a '96 2.5? i was going to order one made for a '96 on this website, then i found a much better price on hondacuraword but i think they only car 99+

they do not fit, but with some modifying they do. I will sell my 99+ one for 45.

 

look at my sig.. got mine for 20 bucks.. its a gen two but i made it fit...

 

is it easy modifying them to fit?

 

yah all u need is a dremel.. if u don't have that scissors is also fine...

 

what are the techniques to do it?

 

You're better off getting one that fits our car. That way, you won't mess it up doing any kind of modifications. You should be able to get one off of eBay for around $40. I'm already on my second one I got them both off of eBay.
