Who has installed performance struts for their 1st Gen TL?
Looking for performance struts for my 97 3.2TL. Eibach springs already installed. Are Honda Accord struts interchangeable?
Thanks for your help!

So how does one go about lowering the gap between the tire and fender?
cut the springs after taking apart the strut?
Just wondering if there is anyone that has lowered their 1st Gen TL.

?? the struts are bolted on in the engine compartment. it's there for structural stability and stiffer handeling. if you want to lower your car just go buy springs or coil overs.

hmm i'm pretty sure the struts don't fit. i think someone on this board tried and it was too close to the hood or actually it touched the hood. do a search.

sorry bro...
no turbo here. i did the research but determined the piping would have been too much of a beeotch to do. if you have a second gen, CompTech is just about to go into production of a turbo kit. first gen's are out of luck

So I have been looking around and found this on ACP
http://www.autocarparts.com/search/r...&subcat=Shocks
If you look at the Tokico blues, there is one that will fit the 95-98 TLs. Can anyone confirm if these will fit. Also if they will, they are the same part # as the 94-97 accord, so the Koni yellows will fit too. Does anyone have an extra few hundred bucks and a few hours of time to install a set?

honestly, we shouldn't just settle for a brand that might fit our cars. i mean we're talking about tokico, they're not all that. i mean what's the point? i'd rather get KYB's. Just a thought. i just hope people out there aren't so desperate that they're actually going to hurt their cars.

Yeah but if the Tokicos fit the Koni's should too. I would much rather go with Koni Yellows.
There are so many shocks that fit different cars, so if the fit, they fit. If I needed new shocks and had $600 to drop I would buy the Koni Yellows. Worth a shot
