Guys ..there is a thin white elastic string dangling from the buttom of the drivers' side door. Its been there for months but since it was winter I didn't bother to do anything. I just want to cut it but I'm afraid it might be needed inside the door. Does anyone know where it is coming from? My only other option is to open the door cover and see where it is coming from.

 

I had that too....I just cut it off.
