There seems to be an ongoing comeback for yellow fogs.

I recently bought a Maxima for a beater and everybody wants to go yellow on their fogs on MAX.org.

What's up with that?

 

The 5th Gen prelude guys use them in their JDM fogs too, I had mine done and it looked great.

I liked my yellow fogs for a while but now I broke apart from them.

I like my white fogs now.

 

Mine don't work at all.

Your bulbs may be dead.

The fogs are H3c bulbs. You can only get them online.

I picked up my bulbs for ~30.

 

I always rocked my yellow fogs. Thinking of putting yellow ones in my RL.

 

That requires an H1 bulb.

Get a 3000K HID kit. It will look really good.

Many people I know and couple of my friends went with the 3000K HID kit from DDM Tuning and it is a really nice yellow.

 

I have a pair of stock yellow condoms.. If anyone is seriously interested let me know..

 

i thought the yellow foglights looked alright, but when i took the yellow trojans out i noticed that my HID's no longer went from lime green to yellow and i like it better, i since replaced the 6000k bulbs i had in them and put 12000k bulbs in all 4 sockets. my shit looks good. esp when i'm drivin in a sea of yellow halogen, 8000k, and 10000k HID's. i see those guys turning their heads.

well i tried to take pix and my lights show up blue on the camera for some weird ass reason.



in person they are not that blue more of a white with a hint of purple. i may go more purple bc unlike most people i like to set myself apart from the crowd and be unique.

 

You know the higher you go in Kelvin the less you can actually see right? You may be able to see when it is dry but when it rains it is a completely different story.

 

you would think but i see just fine, especially on my road that is a lil over a mile long and has over 100 pot holes. i manage to avoid all the deep ones and slow down for the not so deep ones.

i've been driving my car in the rain ever since i got it back from the paint shop. i even drove that beast in the snow. that was awesome bc the snow looked sooooo purty.

 

Remember, he's also making up for the fewer lumens per bulb by having two pairs! So even if each bulb was 2/3 the brightness, it's still 1/3 more light than having two standard HID bulbs.
