Wheel Lock Keys

Hey guys...

I bought my 97 TL used and I don't see a wheel lock key ...should this come free from the dealer? or is this something i have to purchase from the dealer.

You will have to get it through the dealer.

Should the locks be free from the dealer (even if I bought the car used)?

Did you buy your car from a dealer?
The previous owner could have bought aftermarket wheel locks from an outside source, so you might be SOL.

If you can't get them at the dealer...Most likely you can have them removed by wheel/tire professionals that actually grind the top of those lugs off enough the be able to remove them.

If only you were located in the Houston area, I have special wheel lock removers designed for that kinda problem

unless you happen to have a 1/2 inch impact driver lying around.

I got my TL from my aunty and she didn't give me 1) any remote trunk, door or alarm thingy and 2) Wheel lock key...am I supposed to have these things?
