what would you suggest

I have a 96tl. I would like to get some 17's and lower it. How do I go about getting the parts to do something like lowering it. What is a good price, any suggestions, comments. And also if anyone has some 17's for sale let me know my email is tomiac81@yahoo.com let me know im am lost

lowering your car is pretty easy, you can either go with coilovers or just springs. with coilovers you can adjust the height of your car and it ranges from about a 1 inch to 3 inch drop. the springs are cheaper about 200 bucks. eibachs are the prefered springs. you can either get the pro-kit or the sportsline. pro-kit lowers the car about 1.25 inchs and the sportsline is about 2.5 or something like that. As for 17's those should be pretty easy to find, jus gotta find the right offset and stuff. good luck.

You can order your springs online, but get them professionally installed.

I ordered my Eibach pro-kit from a local shop, but they haven't arrived yet. Shipping disrupted due to the bloody terrorist. Hope to get them in next week. Will pay $230 for the springs and $100 for installation.
