Hello all, so far I have managed to solve all my problems by searching but no luck on this one. I am trying to install my navigation system and I need to hook up to the VSS. What is the wire color at the ECU for the signal? Please help!

i think the easiest would be to tap the cruise control unit under the dash... see below for the wire...

1998 Acura TL Cruise Control Wiring Information

• Constant 12V+ White Ignition Switch Harness or Use Hot Side of Brake
• Switched 12V+ Black/Yellow Ignition Switch Harness
• Ground Use Chassis Near Cruise Control Module
• Hot Side of Brake n/a Brake Switch
• Cold Side of Brake Green/White Brake Switch
• Tach Blue 2 Pin White Connector at Passenger's Strut Tower, 12 Pin PCM
• VSS Wire Orange Or Blue/White Pin 12 at CCM near Steering CO
• Pulses Per Mile 4000 PPM

Notes: Vehicles with Manual Transmission require Clutch Switch. Some vehicles may require a speed signal generator and/or other parts/adapters not listed above. Rostra® Cruise Control module switch settings may differ if you use a speed signal generator or magnets and a pick up coil.

Thank you, I have found that, do you know where CCM is? Near steering wheel isn't very specific.

if you look under the dash there is a small black box... it is the cruise control mechanism... you can trace the wires from the cruise control panel on the steering wheel... i know that on some cars the black box even says cruise control module...
