Very Mad and Frustrated!

Hi everyone. I've been reading posts on here and find that they are very helpful. I own a 96 2.5TL and i love it. Just last night someone went through my car and stole the aftermarket stereo system. What got me mad is that rip the system straight out and broke the radio and wood trim into multiple pieces. The wire connection came apart everywhere since they yanked it out. There is no visible way that i can tell how they got into my car. I know the car is locked. The alarm (stock) didn't even go off. I was thinking of master key? Well thats it for the sadness. I would like to thank everyone here for all the posts that yall put up. I find them very useful and practical.

Damn that sucks big time.. Are you insured for this?

Btw our doors are VERY easy to unlock with a slimjim, thanks to the frameless windows. I bought the car with the stock security system disconnected, so I don't know how it works, but if a door was unlocked from the inside would that have turned it off..?

When I forgot my keys inside the car and saw the taxi driver unlock it in 30 secs, I went to buy an aftermarket system the week after!

Holy shit! Thanks for bringing that up. I didn't even know that these cars are so easily broken into. Good thing that Montreal is pretty safe city, or maybe I'm just saying that because no one ever broke into any of my cars, or those of my relatives. I don't keep anything precious in my car right now, but later on after upgrading my stereo, I'll need to buy an after market alarm as well.

By the way, meazz1 I'm feelin' you on that shit. Like I said, I've never had that happen to me, but I imagine that I'd be pissed as hell after something like that.

It's very easy to get in. I've posted on this many times before... Last time my car was stolen, I lost $14K worth of stuff inside.

~Cheers~

shut up about our cars easy to get in.

btw, the coat hanger trick would set off the alarm because anything besides using a key in the keyhole would set off the alarm.

Put a fancy stereo and go park your car in Parc, than you will see how fast they break in. Thats why its better to stick with acuras one ...

Well whoever that got in did not set off the alarm on my car. It was parked right in front of the house. I think they might have used something to open from the keyhole. BTW i've noticed the clock in the car stopped working. I've yet to open it to look at it. Anyone has any ideas as to why it is not working? I'll take it apart to look at it soon whenever i have time. But any advice would be helpful. Thanks

They might've shorted a fuse while ripping the deck out. Same story with my car, though, it was next to my house, no alarms, nothing.

~Cheers~
