Type II <3

so im looking to replace my IM , from my 97 3.2 TL , pictures of my car is around the forums cause i ask a billion questions... anyways , Colt or ken or anybody with experience and knowledge please chime in on the instructions on how to replace my IM for a type II IM and the parts i need and where i can get them, and item numbers if possible. (:

and im to buy a type 2 IM from someone so please help!

You just need the manifold, a new gasket set, and lots of brake parts cleaner. A scraper helps, too, to scrape off the carbon after dousing it in cleaner.

ahhh , the gasket set, do i get it for my 3.2 97 tl or the type 2 legend gasket set, and how much does it cost.

Get the one for the TL. Usually if you're using a part from another car, you want to use the gaskets for your own car in case there are extra ports that could cause leaks. The sets should be around $50 or so.
