Trying to get my Highs

Ok, first off thanks for viewing this thread, the whole purpose of it is the audio sound of my first gen baby, I got a double din touch screen unit and when i hook up all my music the overhead speakers werent working, got the manual and wired it to my rears, i have pioneer speakers in the front i need to change my rears to pioneers as well and my trunk will be changed as well to maybe quantums or qpowers, not quite sure where i want to go with that, i got the bass but little audio sound(cant really hear the words) i may just designate 1 amp for that....any advice

Definitely have a separate amp for the mids and highs. I've run that setup on every car I've had that had a custom sound system. Unless you want to save space/get props/spend $$ on a staggered amp, that's the way to do it for SQL.

usually aftermarket decks wont have the dome tweeters working unless you custom wire it to. The blue plug in the back of your stock radio is the dome tweeters.

so what you are saying/asking is how do you get crystal clear sound? So you mostly hear now is bass and not enough trebel?? If so then you are definately on the right track. Get you some highs. I would suggest getting some components but you already have the speakers in your doors replaced, yes? Im betting they weren't 2 way since you hear no trebel. If you don't want to buy tweeters or change your front pioneer speakers then maybe get you 6x9 2 way or 3 way. a lot of those 6x9 3 ways won't fit beneath the stock grill though.

We fit Pioneer 5-ways in the rear deck on my bro-in-law's 2000 Accord sedan. It can be done to our cars if you're willing to sand a bit, hehe. Components FTW, but if cost is an issue, your average good quality 3- or 4-ways should suffice. ATM, my fronts are 4-ways and the rears are stock because I sold all my 6x9s after I did his car. I never noticed how the rear passengers heard slightly muffled music until I sat in the back testing out one of my amps. 6x9s going in soon, and that's that, hehe.

Positive feedback, i think the pioneers i have in the front are 2way and the rear 6x9s are 3way, i already hooked up the dome ones and damn for some little speakers they are live as hell, maybe i'm just not differenciating them well from my TS unit, may just switch em up again tho(speakers) just to make sure ther are right, I'm really really starting to hate the pioneer speakers with that blue plastic cone, the regular old ones hit better than them, i get paid today so its go'n be done b4 later tonight, also contemplating the installation of either arctic blue lights or arctic white light for my head lamps, it all depends though.

Teekay, the domes are 8-ohm speakers are tuned for that impedance. When you feed a 4-ohm signal into them, they'll play way too loudly. About the lights, hop over to the other thread regarding them and PM me for pricing on HIDs!
