I am tired of my "orange'ish" colored stock bulbs. Are there any hyper white bulbs that we can replace? I have a system in my car and was thinking about changing that bulb out as well as installing a long bulb that is used in fish tanks. The bulbs in fish tanks are kind of purple'ish blue'ish color...its really clean. Anyone?

 

if you are talking about flourescent lights, then you have to make sure you know which one you get. some are blue'ish, some are more white. specially for fish tanks, some of them are more specialized for plant growth, etc. but aren't those lights specified for certain temps? i have a tank but can't find a sticker that says so. just in case you are in very cold weather, etc. anyone?

and if you were to do that, you'd have to rig it up right,etc. if you do it, post how it turns out, pics if you can, etc.

 

i think on ebay they have a LED bulbs that look clean and they are bright as hell you might want to look into that...

 

neons man!! blacklight neons are going to be your best bet at getting that fishtankish look in your trunk. jus look for anything by liteglow and it will show you how to hook it up. It will give you a very basic wiring diagram

 

I just think blacklight neons are a "TAD" bit on the ghetto'ish side??? LOL I just want some hyper white color bulbs but those small little bulbs that I can replace aren't going to cut it...they won't emit as much rays as I want them to. Ehhh.. I guess I'll just stick to my stock orange'ish bulbs =oT

 

im tellin ya bro...go on ebay and find thos LED dome lights...its like 4 LED bulbs inside of a regulare dome bulb...you can get em in a wedge bulb too

 

I have a set of the LED Tubes...they work GREAT...but you have to hide them iotherwise they can look kinda crappy....

 

I already have hyper white dome lights. So you are saying the bulbs in the dome lights are the same size as the trunk bulbs? Hey, you still coming out to the meet?

 

i think that the light that's in the trunk and the dome light are different i think that the light thats in the trunk is a wedge bulb but im like 75% sure...about the meet...yeah im still planning to go...im just a lil reluctant cuz my car is basically bone stock...nothing on it at all

 

Do you go to UH main? I saw a champaign colored 1st gen in the economy lot on 1st day of school. was that you?? There is another 1st gen who parks in the same parking lot as me who is also on this board but i forgot his alias on here.

 

I used to go to UH main. My car is black.

But I graduated May 04. And my schedule was such that I came at school when there was good parking. So I wasn't in the economy lots very much.
