While applying a coat of wax on my tl ... the 3.2tl chrome lettering on the trunk falls off.

I wouldn't mind so much but now there is a black goo outline of the old adhesive where the emblem used to be...

Anyone have any idea's what u use to put it back on with and should i try and scrape off the old adhesive first?

 

Don't put it back on. Use some goo gone to take adhesive residue off.

what would u suggest to put it back on with? anything special??

 

3m makes an emblem tape.

 

good then i dont have to worry about getting the glue or w/e all over the place
