What's the fastest you guys have gone in your TL's? Also what is the fastest you can go, anyone know? I did 125 in mine!!

I have done 135mph (216km/h )in mine and I believe I can go faster than that.

Im the same as V.Nak..I did 138 in a 2.5TL. it hit 5k RPM, the intake got louder,and started to pull harder..Thought I shoud slow down ...

120-125 can't remember, but my intake was starting to humm pretty loud. Think my RPM's were right around 4500 could have easily gone way faster.

2.5TL

110+ mph for 3 hours straight from SanFrancisco to LA. Had to stop for gas. I had to keep the speed down because of my newly rebuilt motor but I was doing 125+ in the straights with no incline.

125 around, think i could have gone faster but i didn't want to push it either cause it sounded a little funny...

the fastest i ever went on my 3.2 is 135mph. i probably could of gone faster, but my g/f got scared. lol

I thought 125 MPH in my TL was fast. **** 135 MPH you guys got balls. I will try that sometime though. Ya I can imagine my girl freakin going just a 100 MPH, you going 135 MPH must have freaked her the **** out, lol!!

WHEN I HAD MY 98 PRELUDE TYPE SH I DID 150+ MPH. AND THAT WAS NOT REDLINED YET, THE SPEEDO WENT PAST 150 A LITTLE, SINCE THE TL-S HAS MORE HP I WOULD THINK IT COULD DO ATLEAST 150 ON A VERY LONG STRAIGHT AWAY.

hey that website says that the 2.5 can do low 8's, not the mid 9's that was in the other threads...guess my timing on the freeway wasn't that far off then.

I was racing a slightly worked 91' Honda Accord Coupe (Exhaust and Intake) I spanked him royally. He seemed to be maxing out at 125 and I was doing 140mph on I95 comming down to NY from Connecuit from my friends house. That was about 1 1/2 years ago, I have calmed down considerably since my engagement. My fiancee would kill me for going that fast now. But yes the car is quick and capable of probably doing 145 or even 150 cause the car still had more ump in it when i was crusing at 140. My friend at the time was trying to keep up with me in his Eclipse (96') but he stopped at 125 cause he said his knees were shaking, I just laughed my A$$ off when i spoke to him.
