Tinted mirrors

I noticed that on a lot if newer cars, they have the outside mirrors tuned either yellow or blue. So...I'm going to get mine tinted. $20-25 each side. The tint place gave me a choice of a slight blue tint, or slight green. I think the blue would give a better affect, but my car is green. I'm having it done next week

Slight blue is because of an auto-dimming feature/glare. If you want to emulate that, that'd be the colour to go for.

I came into this thread ready to tell you you shouldn't do it because it's useless, harms visibility, etc. It actually looks pretty nice though, I like it.

is that a film tinting or they actually tint the glass...

I think from the factory, they tint the glass. I'm sure the mirror I posted is film.
