The Time Has Come...

This year, I plan on dropping my car and getting the 3.2 bumper.

I have located a bumper and just need to order it.

The suspension I am having some issues with. Since there are not many shocks that are out there for our cars, we have to piece our suspension together.

I don't want coilovers so that is out of the story.

I am thinking about Accord 90-97 Tockico HP shocks. Will they work?

Then I am thinking about getting some springs but I cannot decide which ones that I want to get.

Any ideas would help. Thanks.

The Tokico HP (blues) for the 90-97 Accords work well on the 2.5. Just be aware that the shocks by themselves will lower the 2.5 TL by about 3/4". So factor that in when you choose springs. Probably will need a camber kit in the rear.

see... it actually wears pretty evenly unless your toe is off.

I'm going to go with an Eibach Pro-kit I believe.

I want it to be low but not too low.

Thanks for the replies guys.

I had the pro kit on my old TL, didn't replace shocks - just the springs.

I'm just going to do both at once so I don't have to worry about it down the road.

So would the Eibach Pro-kit and Blues combo work?

Nice.

That means that the front should drop 1.95" and the rear will drop 1.75" after the shock and spring combo.

Shocks ~ 0.75" drop
Springs (F)1.2" drop (R) 1" drop.

It is going to look official. So am I going to need a camber kit? Which one should I go with?

I don't think so but if you are really worried about it, get it. I have no issues with any camber wear. Make sure toe is in specs. Remember, out if specs toe kills tires quickly than camber..

My toes aren't in spec. I got it aligned a while back and it wasn't good.

Alright so today I dug up the alignment diagram that I got after I got my car aligned and the notes that it had on it was that I had a frozen shim?

How hard is it to replace those? Cost? Etc.?

Hey TLin401, if your lowering your car with the Eibach Pro kit and replacing the shocks with Tokico Blues, I would be interested in buying your stock set up. Front Springs and Struts and Rear Springs and Shocks. Let me know if your interested. I could even meet you half way like the northern tip of CT if your interested.

Please let me know.

I currently have the Eibach Pro Kit and Tokico Blues with a Camber Kit in the rear but I want to lift it to stock ride height again. With the past snow we have had and potholes I think the normal ride height it better for me.

Thanks.
