Anybody change their throttle body on their TL?

BBK makes one:

man i don't think it's worth it at all. 300 bucks to have only a 8 hp boost? why not get NOS for a couple hundred dollars more and kick some real a$$?

 

NOS gives a major boost, but doesn't it kill the engine?

as long as you use NOS in moderation and don't do like a 70 shot, our engine and tranny should be able to take it without any harmful side effects.

 

the stock throttle body actually has alot of metal that can be ground down and polished, which is what you are really getting for the price. what really matters is how smooth the inside of the bore is. if i could post a pic of mine you'd be able to see your reflection in my throttle body......i didn't really notice a performance gain though. just getting it done was enough for me.
