I recently bought the spray on tint and almost ready to rock N roll. I need help finding the clear lacquer enamel. I looked at all the autoparts places in town and even called up paint shops: no luck. According to an old thread posted here, i need a clear lacquer enamel that is UV-protected. Anyone know where to find some or other suggestions. I also cannot find that old post either.....please post pictures if you have tinted your taillights and explain how.......

 

You might find it at a hobby shop for model cars. It's worth a shot as the lens-paint is very similar to the paint for those.

I am in Auto Body and have my own shop. I can tint your tails professionally. I will paint them translucent black. They will look real black, but all lights will show. I have been doing this for years. They will be Clear coated just like the rest of your car is. You will even be able to wax them. Can do pretty much any dark color. damnit...i wish i would have saved $115 and had you do my tails instead of buying those damn inspires.
