Sub with OEM stereo

Is there any way to hook a regular 4ohm (400W) sub up to the OEM stereo, or will I have to get an amp (should I anyway?)?

thx

Craig

you can... its possible but the sound quality just wont be there. you'll need rca cables and stuff, right? and yes, you'll need an amp to push your 400w subs..unless you want to waste your money on the powerful sub that wont hit?

You need to get an amp to power your sub or else it wont hit. In addition you need to install a High-to-low on the back end of your factory unit cause it has the adapter for the RCA plugs.
