Sometimes when I turn my car on... it chokes and I might have to rev to like 3 RPM's and it's all good and running.
Also sometimes when I slow down, it feels like it downshifts and goes to a waaaaaay too low RPM, like 300... and sometimes it almost chokes, but it hasn't yet.
As rare as this is, I've had this car long enough to notice some things that can cause it to almost choke... for example, when I got in reverse and turn my steering wheel. It almost seems like my power steering is draining my power or something, I don't know much about cars so I could be wrong... but even when I turn the car on and warm it up... and I can turn the steering wheel and the RPM's jump up quickly.
I'm massively confused... is this bad?

Cleaned your throttle body/intake manifold? I use that spray cleaner we have here...just remove the hose on the intake pipe,rev the engine to about 1500rpms and spray away for about 30 seconds...until no more white smokes comes out the exhaust.Have someone step on the gas or you rev it using the choke/cable thing next to the throttle body.Do you have spray injection cleaners in the States? I forgot....its been 10 years.
