Is the starter a sealed unit as to where we cannot put new contacts in ourselves?
If so,which contacts would I need?(part number?)I do not have my starter out yet.
I have seen the website that texashonda put up a link to follow but I need to know which ones I need,...If they can even be replaced??

 

I found they were sealed on my 2.5TL.

I looked at 98 3.2TL starter and found the part image suggests the contacts are replaceable. I can't be sure but this looks like solenoid I replaced contacts on Accords and 2.2CL. The contacts go under the 3-bolt cover at upper end of drawing.

check car-part.com for used starters for your car. They will provide all cross-over donors in their large inventory, so you'll know if later or earlier models are matches.
