This is a listing of bulbs for the 1996 Acura 2.5 TL, Im looking for diffrent color bulbs for the Speedometer Display. (Instrument-general Part number = 74). I see that there are 3 bulbs on top shining on to the display making it white, I was wondering if i could put a blue blub in and where i could find it. Im looking for blue blubs for the whole interior of the car, dome lights,etc..

What are you trying to do? If you want to change the bulbs that light up the numbers, they are 168 bulbs. Theres only 5 of them. The TWO bulbs on top light up the needles. Those are 74 type bulbs.

 

I talked to some guy named Jonathon at autlites.net....He told me that they have colored bulb "condoms" that slip right over the bulb. And they are only like 99 cents a piece. You might want to look into that.

nothing really i have had the car in the family since 95. (96 acura 2.5tl) We got the car before there was a 3.2 model, since my mom got a new E320 i got the acura, so im all stock on the car, the first thing i did was get super white blubs for the head lights, i whana get a stereo because the cd player is defective it gives me cd errors with any cd i put in.
