I don't know how long they have been out for but I noticed it today when the car was running and I had to get something out of the trunk. My rear speakers don't work. The one on the right is only getting sound out of the tweeter and the other one isn't making any sound. I tried connecting one of the factory speakers back to the connection and there was no power going to the one on the left. This is driving me crazy so any comments/advice would help.

 

get a home speaker and test it out. if sounds comes out replace speakers with aftermarket

if nothing check your headunit for the wirings of speakers

 

My speakers are aftermarket that I got but they might just suck. My dad was saying the same thing about the headunit so I'm going to go back to where I got my headunit installed to see what they can do.

 

be sure the wires are securely fastened.

I tried...lol Yeah I'm going to have to take care of this problem before I start some of the mods that I've been thinking about.
