- the AC won't switch to manual mode, it will only work on auto. pressing the manual button from auto mode results in nothing. because of this i never use the ac unless its too hot.
- srs red light is on

- Did you try to turn it off and back on with the fan speed button? You can try to disconnect the the climate control unit and plug it back in, sometimes that work. Do a search on A/C self diagnostic mode and perform the procedures to see if it gives you any faults.
- Sorry I do not know anything about srs and would not mess with anything related to srs system.

 

Your climate control unit could be fried. That is a common problem with age. Just get another unit and you should be fine. You can get one at a salvage yard for like $40.

Go to Autozone or any parts store and have them hook up the OBD-II and read the codes.

After you get the codes, post them in here and we will help diagnoise what could potentially be the problem.

 

To reset the ABS, you need a special box, not one that you can buy at an auto parts store.
