So I traded in my '97 RL for a '98 TL
Am I crazy? I feel like I got a better deal by getting a newer car and getting a 3.2 Premium. Plus with the new Honda financing it was cheaper on the payments.
I loved my RL but looks like my TL will be a lot more fun with upgrades, options, etc.
Glad I found this group!! Hope you are kind to newbies.

cool
Hey man welcome to our board. That's crazy but cool you traded in an RL for TL. Both cars very similar, just a slightly different body shape and the speed. I love my TL. Isn't a better car out there in my opinion. How old are you, and where you from?

I'm from Overland Park, KS.
I'm enjoying the car... it's the first week and with all the Acura certified stuff they'll still need to put on new tires and patch this one scratch so it's been a little hectic.
I'm also trying to get the sub/amp removed from my old RL to put into this car.
Wasn't really expecting to buy a car this weekend.
The thing I like is back in 96-98 you couldn't tell much difference in the RL & TL. Nowadays they are obviously different. Plus, they said in '98 the TL was going for something like $38k and the RL was $41k, so not much difference at all.
It's a little smaller than the RL, has some better options and some missing, and rides just slightly different.
Looking at all your TLs and what you've done, I'm excited to own one. Never found a group like this for the RL.

welcome to the board, always liked the TL over the RL. even though the TL is a bit smaller, it does have more attitude. to me the RL just looks like a wanna be lexus or something. like acura just tossed whatever they could together without giving it much thought.
