slow windshield wipers

Anyone experience their windshield wipers slow down or even stop when in use. Could that problem be as simple as a new wiper blade or is it as serious as a new wiper motor?
Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

well mine started off slow..then stopping...for a few days then sometime i would have to leave them on for a while b4 they actually came on... then (tha bad news) tha motor died.!! i had to get a whole new wiper motor...acura quoted me $220 for labor and like $375 for tha part WHUT!! so i had a local shop do it for like $280-290 still alot but better than $5 somethin so if urs are still working now go and get it checked a.s.a.p. b4 it gets worse hopefully they can save it b4 it fully dies like mine.
