roughly, how much?
im about to hit 50k miles on my car and i have never gotten a tune up before. I never had any major problems with my car so i never brought it in for a tune up. I know you're suppose to do it like every 15k-30k miles or so.. as i said before, im about to hit 50k and was thinking of bringing it to the dealers for a tune up. How much is it roughly? im thinking 150 bucks or more? they change out timing belts and junk like that, right?
i wouldnt go to the dealership on a tune up all they are doin is chaning out parts that wear down after a while and there going to charge you out the a$$... i owuld go to a trusted mechanic they are going to do the same thin and they get the parts from honda
you for real? i mean, i think that i can trust the acura dealer mechanics than other places.. but you do have a point about them charging a lot for labor/parts. hmmm anybody have experience on dealer tune ups or ANY tune ups??

I guess its up to you what you want them to do. I think the owner's manual suggests that you replace brake fluid and radiator fluid, automatic tranny fluid, check brake pads and rotors, change oil and filter, and a few other things. Can't remember. My dealer quoted me about $220 for this service.
220?? dang.. okay so you can control on which to change out when you take it in for a tune up?? i didn't know that.. i thought they'd change what needs to be changed but they might rip me off by telling me to change stuff i dont need to change and charge me.. anybody else have any inputs?
