Recommendation for Shocks and Spring

I wanted to lower my car, and I wanted to get the Eibach brand but I have no idea where to start or how. What would be a good Shocks and Spring for a 3.2 TL? any help would be greatly appreciated.

koni's are expensive. another alternative would be KYB. i had those on my beretta....did good. however, if you are going to lower your car quite a bit with the eibachs, you'll need a strut that can hold the pressure. mine weren't meant for it on the beretta, and wore out much faster than they should have.

ps - do the TL's even have struts? or is it shocks all around? duh me

Tl's have struts all around, not shocks. An Eibach pro-kit is meant to be compatible with oem struts. There is no aftermarket struts marketed towards the TL.

Koni's are expensive but they are great struts for the price you pay and they have a lifetime warranty.

good to know. yeah, koni's are good and expensive....but you do get what you pay for. i just never do/did the type of driving they were intended for. and it's not worth the stiff crap ride if you don't drive em like they were intended

no, shocks are different than struts. struts, to me, have more to them, whereas shocks are just a long tube that just connects at top and bottom. the strut, as in the front, connects to the steering and all that.

a shock doesn't have springs over it. A strut uses a spring to help it support. The perfect example for shocks is a lifted truck, it has springs and struts to support it then the shocks are added when lifting it. ( this isn't accurate but it's the best example I could think of)

I don't understand what's the use of strut bar when it's bolt into your chassis? how does that help your turn? I know it's a dumb question...I just need a scientific answer to it.
