Real Bumpy ride......
Had a new engine installed about a month ago. Just got a set of barum tires installed about a month ago also (stock rims/tire size). Now when i drive i notice a real bumpy ride and also when i brake. Do you think i need an alignment. Had the tires balanced twice. Got 140,000 miles. Could it be the struts, camber,or shocks.

why was the engine replaced? what car do you drive?
as for the smoothness of your ride, its not the alignment or camber thats the problem its probably your shocks. did you buy the car used? do you have bad streets in charlotte? do you or whoever drive your car drive over speed bumps going at fast speeds?

I have a 96 2.5 tl , had to replace engine, because my timing belt snap and bent valves 1 and 5. Got a used engine w/ 51,000 miles on it and installed for $1450. Bought the car used with 72,000 miles on it and i have never replaced the shocks or struts. How expensive are the shocks or struts.
