LOL, my stock alarm sometimes doesn't even go off when it SHOULD go off. I've heard Viper alarm systems was pretty decent and you can probably get one for around $100. I was planning to get the Aladdin 2000 alarm system, but not quite sure how much it costs. It sure has lot of nice features tho.

go on ebay.. i got a crimestopper and it works perfectly if u can get a good installer... i paid 78$ for it shipped on ebay about 2 yrs ago.. it should be that same price for a better model now...

looks like im not gettin a new alarm system
dealer setn me an e-mail saying that the brand of alarm i have on my car has a lifetiem warranty and the dealer fix's/replaces parts for free so im gettin it fixed and possibly upgraded there

I have the Aladdin 2000 and it works great. I paid 160 for it on ebay and had someone install it for 140. The only thing I really dont like about it is that it only has a 1/4 mile range. So it wont even alert you if your only a few blocks away.

Isn't 1/4 mile range pretty good? I'm sure if your any farther away from your car, it'd be too late by the time you get there lol.

sometimes when theres a building or something in between me and the car it wont recieve a signal. so in order to get a good 1/4 mile range you need to be in a open area. its all good though...i dont regret getting it
