Some times when i start my car beforte the ignition cranks i get this sound....it sounds like a grinding in my steering wheel column....sounds almost exactly like errrrrhhh....=) but my car starts fine and everything........Or for now...this is why i am conserned about this noise...anyone ever had this noise in there steering wheel column.......

 

nope... you can see that all the cogs in the steering mechanism are plastic... does it sound like plastic on plastic?
