pinstripe

I have a black 97 3.2 and it came (used) with the gold package...while i don't mind the gold emblems, i was wondering what everyone's opinion on the gold pinstripe. should i take it off or leave it?

thanks,
Will

Well its your car. Do you like the way it looks? My car came with the same gold stripe and I hated it. I had it sanded off right away. Should be pretty cheap to get done from a body shop. For a cleaner look, get it removed.

shop really necessary?

is the body shop really necessary? most of my friends have used a hairdryer to heat it up and it comes right off. i am still thinking about it though because i don't want to do it and then want it back later (although i doubt that would happen)

thanks,

I didnt want to mess with it and damage the paint. When my friend took the pinstripe off his old car you could still see the outline from certain angles. I'm not sure if our stripe would do the same thing.

I dont think you'd want the stripe back after you got it removed. What color is your car and what color is the stripe? My car is black and it had a gold stripe. :yack:
