How do you adjust the parking brake. Mine is completely loose

 

Open your center console stack and take out all of the stuff that is probably in there. Take out the piece of carpeting. Underneath that is a plastic plate. If you take that out, you'll see a metal plate clamping metal cables. You should know what to do from there (or you shouldn't be adjusting your parking brake).
