Post paint question

i got an oil change and the guy was very careless about his job. he got oil and grease on my car and now I need to get it off. i did the windows with windex. now can i use windex on the paint? it says surface. tia

yea i know its a dumb question.

i didn't. the guy that changed my oil did! I am doing this myself from now on! and just yesterday like a gallon of bird shit dropped all over the ride side of my hood! WTF! and I can't remove all that grease oil sh!t!. anything good you guys use?

damn a gallon of bird shit, that's a lot of shit =P i usually just let the dealer do the dirty work and then do a little touch up after i get my car back. I know it's just not the same, but they get the job done.

I hope you weren't asking if you could use Windex on your paint to clean up the oil and bird crap. Just wash the car with some car soap. I use Liquid Crystal or Gliptone soap. That should get off most of the oil and grease and then throw on a quick coat of wax and everything should be fine. Now if the oil is on the interior like the glass, I would use Clearview glas cleaner cause it is safe for all tints and pretty much gets my windows spotless. Hope this is of some help to you.

hehe. that guy uses a hose kinda thing to put oil in. apartly he missed. and then wiped up the oil with his grease rag! damn

make sure you use car wash product...dishwashing liquid would strip the paint of its natural oils/
