Oxygen Sensor
Whoah whoah, slow down there. First, use the search. If you find nothing, then tell us what year your car is and whether it is a 3.2 or 2.5, in addition to WHICH oxygen sensor you are talking about.
Easy on the new man, Oxygen sensors are generally located upstream and downstream from the exhaust manifold. Not for sure, but I think our cars have 2 of them. Getting a universal is ok, just expect to be cutting and splicing wires.... To find the senors, just start at the exhaust manifold and follow the exhuast until you see a plug screwed into the pipe!
Yeah, I have a 2.5 and they require an upstream and a downstream. i am getting the upstream although i should be replacing both. anyway, i got the bosch universal o2 sensor yesterday. i'm hoping to change it today. i will try following the manifold and i should find it. an oe oxygen sensor will run me over $200.00 while a universal one is only $75 or so.

Is there a way to figure out which O2 sensor needs to be replaced short of paying $85 at the dealership just to tell me? I have a 3.2 and there are 2 sensors visible under the hood, and 2 more under the car after the exhaust manifold. I know ppl with the computers but apparently you must use an ACURA computer to tell you the right sensor. When my buddy at Toyota did it, it came up something like 1st bank, sensor 2. How they heck do i figure how which is sensor 2 or which bank is which? Any help is much appreciated!!
