I just hit a Mercedes-Benz just few hours a go and the only thing i can say is that the 1 G tl bumper is very strong, Not even a single scratch on my car, but on the Mercedes-Benz 25 % of the bumper is gone. It wasnt My fault so Im saved Lol. dam i was soo dump i should of did a claim and repainted the bumper .

I have a 97 Tl with 220 K on it and the front bumper has a lot of Rock Hits.

 

Just make sure the guy doesn't file a hit and run. It's best to get his DL number to prove that you spoke with him. BTW, I bent in my bumper reinforcement with my foot. I was tugging on the engine hoist when the engine/tranny got stuck on it's way out of the car, haha.

yea our bumpers are strong. I hit a lexus a while back and my bumper has only a small area of no paint. but no cracks or nuthin

 

its probably because of the Mercs crumple zone, great in a big crash but a bitch in fender benders
