Damn it was like i was bein passed by a jet. i saw somethin comin up in my rearview last night going to richmond VA and the headlights looked like a first gen. surely enough it was. So when i saw whoever it was goin like 130+, i downshifted to like 3rd and floored it to about 120, he just kept on goin. i wasn't gonna go any faster than that cuz i'm on my stock tires, but it appeared he was also!! crazyness. my tires felt like they were gonna pop so i just cut it off at around 120ish. i kept up for a few but he just kept flying. it was one of the most amazing things i've ever seen. i was just wondering if it was one of you guys. i believe it was a dark red 3.2, maybe black? if ur on here im just sayin whats up and u need to be careful and stop drivin like a fuckin nut. haha later guys.

I have a black 3.2 and I'm in Virginia quite frequently on business.
No it wasn't me, I don't ever go past 100 on the highway.

Once in a while I do go above 100. Bout a coupla weeks ago...hit my top speed in TL of 132 out in the boonies. And lemme tell you something....that car was as calm as ever. Sure there was a helluva lot more wind noise. But the car was absolutely stable and the steering wheel had nary a quiver. The big fella simply stayed glued to the road and Im sure others more "experienced" at these speeds, such as Ken whose done freakin 147 (on a closed course albeit) will echo my sentiments that at reasonably high speeds 120-130, the TL is a VERY stable car.
Now my accord...that is NOT a stable car at speeds anywhere near 110.
BTW Ken, you say u visit Virginia quite often. U drive all the way from Oregon!!!???

I sometimes drive, usually fly though.
Its not a bad drive, 40 hours at most. I just break it into 3 days.
And yes, the TL is very stable at high speeds. Of course, I did it on a closed course as mentioned as at those speeds you want a CLEAN road with NO debris, deer or idiots on the road.
