Oil in spark plug tube???
Gents,
I changed my plugs yesterday.. (NGK Iridium IX for those wondering).. I found that all of the other plugs came out dry but burnt/corroded except the one in the on the passenger side near the rear of the engine compartment... (3.2 = V6 cylinders).
When I pulled out the coil unit, it had a little oil on the tip of the rubber and the actual plug had some oil around the base near the bottom of the threads.. none was near the spark plug gap so thats cool..
Does anyone know why this happens? Is it a bad thing???
Thanks.

Just a leaking valve cover gasket. A cheap fix, and nothing to really worry about. At least you didn't have an oil change place pull out a spark plug wire (or coil pack in our case) and fill it with oil thinking that was the oil filler neck. That happened to another member here, haha.
