Question

OBD 1 or 2 ?

Hey everyone, I have a 96 TL 3.2L and I am looking at purchasing a scan tool that can be used with my iPod touch, seeing as I am training in automotive tech, but it only does OBD 2. And if I'm going to spend the money I would like to know if I can use it on my TL. Anybody know if it’s OBD 1 or 2? Thanks.
