Not Good... Help

So can somebody please tell me wtf is wrong with my car? So like 2 weeks ago the check engine light came on, and i thought it wasn't a big deal and i thought it was doing that bc i was putting in 87 gas, so i switched to premium. As time went on the car began to rumble and shake right after i started it. As soon as i turned it on it would just shake, it would go away after like 20 seconds or when i started driving. To this day it still shakes almost everyitme i start it.

secondly the temperature meter is always almost redlining, before it would be ine the middle, then it started to jump up and come down, and now it just shoots up to H after like 5 minutes of driving.

On top of all this my cd player is fucking ridiculous and every CD i put in is CD-PEO1... and i just can't take the radio anymore.

2.5 or 3.2 TL?

Second issue sounds like a coolant or thermostat issue. I'd get a coolant flush immediately and replace the thermostat.

How many miles do you have on your motor now? Does is shake at idle, for example when you hit a red light, or just when you first start it? It could be a clogged EGR pipe if it's a slight shaking when stopped, or it could be fouled plugs not sparking properly. Ken, he has a 2.5 that he's had for a little over a year. About the CD player, try a lense cleaning kit. They seem to correct some of the error codes that our old players throw.

Damn, a year and only 12,000 miles?! Just last week I was celebrating my first 10,000 miles on this TL... less than 3 months after I got it... Pull out your plugs and check for fouling. If they are fouled, wash them with coolant, let them dry, then drive to your local Kragen/AutoZone, etc. and get new ones if they've got NGK Plats in stock. You could go to the dealership as well, which personally I think is better in your case, but since we don't know what's causing it yet, I wouldn't plunk down too much money up front.

my car used to do the whole temp to the red line deal. turns out it was my thermostat so i got it replaced. i just did my 100k mile service a few weeks ago with a coolant flush and it did the same thing like the same day i got the car back. turns out there was an "air bubble" in the cooling system somewhere or some shit. they just did another coolant flush and cars been fine ever since.

but like Ken said get your thermostat looked at.

I wished my Accord only had a thermostat problem... When the gauge went up, smoke came out, hehe.
